Export to Sender
Export from Sendra and paste into Sender's Custom HTML email editor, with the unsubscribe link and address Sender needs.

Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Put your images online: turn on Host images online in Sendra, or use your own image URLs. Sender’s help suggests uploading images in its editor, but does not show how to copy an image’s address for pasted code. Sender does not import zip files.
- Set your preview text in Properties. It travels in the file.
- On the free plan, Sender adds its branding at the bottom of every campaign.
What Sender needs in every email
Section titled “What Sender needs in every email”Sender does not send a custom HTML email without a working unsubscribe link, and does not add one for you.
Unsubscribe link. Type “Unsubscribe” in your footer, select it, and put this in its Link field: {$unsubscribe_link}. Give it its own text layer, since Figma’s link box will not accept a tag. Some of Sender’s pages write the tag in double braces; {$unsubscribe_link} is the form in Sender’s own starter code.
Mailing address. Put these tags in your footer text: {{ account.address }}, {{ account.city }}, {{ account.zip_code }} and {{ account.country }}. Sender fills them from your account. Its help does not say whether a campaign without them is stopped, so include them.

Tags you will use most
Section titled “Tags you will use most”Type these in Figma exactly as shown. Text tags go in a text layer, link tags go in a Link field.

Preview text
Section titled “Preview text”Leave Sender’s Email Preview text empty in the campaign’s settings. Your preview text is already in the file.
Paste it in
Section titled “Paste it in”- In Sender, go to Email campaigns and click New campaign. Fill in the settings and click Save and continue.
- Choose the Custom HTML email tab.
- Select all the starter code in the editor and delete it. In Sendra, click Copy HTML, and paste it in.
- Click the Save changes icon in the top toolbar.
Check it
Section titled “Check it”Click Send test email, enter an address, and click Send. Sender sends up to ten tests an hour, and tags are not filled in a test; to see them filled, put yourself in a group of your own and send the campaign to that group.
Compare it with the test you sent from Sendra. They should match; Sender adds tracking to your links, which is normal.
Changing it later
Section titled “Changing it later”Keep Figma as the source: change the design, export again, and paste again. A draft reopens with Edit design; once a campaign is sent, it cannot be changed.
Dynamic content
Section titled “Dynamic content”Sender fills subscriber fields such as the first name at send time. Merge tags shows how to use tags in text, links and image URLs.
