# Preview your email

The Preview tab shows a picture of your email, and **View full preview** opens the email as it will arrive. The preview window renders the same HTML the export produces.

## The preview window

Inside the window:

- **Desktop** shows the email at your design's width.
- **Mobile** shows the email at 360 pixels, the width of a common phone.
- **Light and dark** show the email in both modes. Dark mode applies your dark-mode overrides from the Customize tab.
- Drag the handle at the side of the preview to see how the email behaves at narrower widths. The header shows the current width.

## The preview follows your edits

Change a setting in Properties, a control in Customize, or the design itself, and the preview regenerates. Keep the window open while you work on the Mobile view.

## When the preview does not generate

Choose **Try again** in the preview. If it keeps happening, write to [support@hellosendra.com](mailto:support@hellosendra.com) with the name of your email frame and a description of the design.
